Lately I've been increasingly interested in the physics and elements of the universe, along with leaps in robotics and synthetic life. I have seen, read, and heard of marvelous scientific discoveries and what mankind has elected to do with his new found knowledge. I have however, found something quite interesting, which I believe to be a side affect. for thousands of years mankind has worshiped different gods, all either creators or destroyers of the universe and masters of it all, most religions tell of how the god(s) created everything and then created man (usually in his image or something like it). I now look around and see mankind and his present pastimes, creating elements, trying to manipulate the very deepest workings of the universe, and creating life it self in labs, changing entire planets, and to top off the characteristic ego of our race, we have spent decades and massive amounts of sources to create a robot in our own image. as Zeus was raised to become a powerful god, so do we learn and grow as a whole. more and more we learn the ways to the universe, first we learned destruction, with the introduction of the atomic age, and now scientists are trying not to split atoms or elements apart, some are trying to fuse hydrogen atoms so that we may make matter the way we want it. man is on his journey to divinity in the universe and it was his curiosity that has helped him along the way. so i would like to wish mankind, his thoughts, his actions, his children whether natural or his creation, good luck.

I don't think you need to be playing with the the fundamental elements of the universe (as atoms or as life) to tap into a kind of creativity that relates very closely with what a lot of people understand to be "the divine." I guess what I'm saying is, if you're looking for it, you can feel awe at a child's crayon scrawl in the same way. Or do you think it's different?
