Help to make The Island of Nerdfighteria a Reality!

This poll shows that Mouton Island is the most popular of the suggested islands. The government type of Nerdfighteria is still unestablished, but you can find a discussion on the Nerdfighteria Government Website. Finance will have to be dealt with at a later date because of issues with tax and such. I have researched the Island and it was once used to rear sheep (First rural use of sheep in Canada, hence the name) but is now uninhabited and owned by some Germans. It has some disused buildings that have been ransacked over the years and two lakes, one is "brackish" but the other is clean.

We could hold an internatinol lemonade stand and bake sale day where all of the nerds in nerdfighteria host a lemonade stand and or bakesale to make money for our island! My idea is absurd, I know.

If we let a hotel company buy the island, we wouldn't own it, the hotel company would. The Nerdfighter hotel chain is something to be thought of later.

i think that if we asked a hotel chain like...the riu (i stayed at one of their places one, they have hotels all over the world) and got them to build a hotel there, then they could buy the land, we would have money, and a place to stay, once again, the riu is just an example

To answer Sablemouse's concern over the "floodability" of Mouton, it's off the water enough I'd think, and global warming won't just be like "Hey, let's just flood EVERYTHING".
