I Watch New Moon Movie = 2 Thumbs Down
I have a 13 year old daughter who read the Twilight Saga books. You wanted so badly to see the movie New Moon. I have heard of the movie through TV commercials but never got a chance to see what it was rated. I went to WatchMoviesSite.com and decided to watch the bootleg version for free just so I'll know what type of sex, violence or cursing was in the movie. I also wanted to watch it to see why she was so obsessed with it. Granted I love Vampire Ware-wolf movies but after watching New Moon I do not see why this movie has so many people waiting in lines and texting all their friends. This movie was nothing special and far from spectacular.
If you haven't watch the movie yet then you are missing nothing. I personally would save the 10 bucks for a DVD rental of "Pet Cemetery". New Moon is about a young girl who wants to be a vampire so she can live forever with her Vampire boyfriend. The Boyfriend rejects her and being a hot in the pant teen as she is she decided to go after her childhood friend who turns out to be a WareWolf. In the first movie "Twilight" the bot friend (Edward) stalked her beyond believe. Had this been real life he would have been in jail for stalking. Now in the movie New Moon there is yet again another stalker. This time it's the Childhood friend, the Warewolf. He stalks and protects her like the vampire did in Twilight. Ohh yeah , Warewolves kills vampires to past time (geezz)
So now we have this dependent girl who cant live without a boyfriend in her life. I mean she tried to kill herself many times just so she could see him in a vision. Talk about fatal obsession! After she tried cliff diving into the ocean her Blood sucking boyfriend thought she was dead and decided to kill himself. She arrives just in time to save him. Now the new Buff wolf boyfriend is upset because he is now the jilted one.
The movie ends very strangely but still in a pretty good way to let you know there's another story coming. Like I said the movie was nothing special and giving it 2 thumbs down might be a little harsh but fitting compared to "Pet Cemetery". I suggest you watch New Moon online for free first and then decide if you want to purchase the DVD or make a trip to your local theater.

I know exactly what you mean!
after my mom bought the first movie (thinking I liked the series) and I watched it, I personally swore I would not, under any circumstances, go and see New Moon. The week before it opened, two of my twihard friends talked me into going to see it on opening night. not only did they get me there, but they then left me alone in the front and sat in the back so that they could see the movie better -.- . I almost fell asleep.
I'm pretty sure that the reason most people like twilight is because they think it's such a wonderful romance story about how love conquers all. unfortunately, twilight promotes any number of unhealthy things, including suicide. On top of that it managed to take all the machismo from Vampires and werewolves, and ruined most people's opinions about them. However, There are much better vampire novels and movies, such as the remake Let Me In (I think. I'm waiting for it to come out so I can go see, but the book was just amazing).

I get where your coming from. After I saw them I kinda felt ripped off, too. Buuut the movies weren't the reason why the lines are/where endless at the movie theater. The books are actually good. Love them or hate them, you have to admit they where kind of addicting. The books are good, the movies suck (literally. he,he).
But I do think the vampire thing is waaay to popular.

I understand 100% with you on this topic. I believe New Moon...and the WHOLE Twilight Series has destoryed Vampires and Ware Wolf image. Now when movie makers are going to make a movie on Vampires or Ware Wolfs they are going to go for a Twilight copy so they can make a few more bucks.
Now I have seen the preview for the new Ware Wolf movie and also a vampire move that looks more...Older Teenager and Adult style of film. I just hope the world isn't going to try to ruin zombies next. :O
