I weep for my genaration

I am young and something i dislike about all my peers around me is there taste in everything from music to books like that fact most of my peers listen to one derection and justin bieber now i am not hating on these artist i am sure they are lovely people (i hope) but sorry your music is just bad and yet people still come to like it this baffels me in more ways than one. Now books most of my peers read well nothing they simple dont read and this makes me sad reading is one of the joys of life that takes to amazing places and lands you could never normally go to from worlds of wizards and magic to zombie filled citys and missing out on that makes me sad and when they do read it is stupid books about again one derection and justin bieber 

so this is why i weep for my genaration fell free to commant your thought (sorry for bad spelling)

I do think that it's bad if you only listen to shallow music. That can deprive you of culture and might make you an unpleasant person. I know a few people who are like that.

I must say i do agree with your point i think everyone listens so some bad music sometimes cause its easy to listen to but only sometimes some people get crazy with it

I think that there is nothing wrong with liking fluffy music or books as long as there is a balance. I happen to enjoy listening to one direction, but I also play the violin and like to listen to classical music too. To me, it's enjoyable to listen to kinda bad music because, although it is pretty shallow and doesn't make me think, it's still fun. As long as it's in moderation and balanced out with more meaningful music or books, I think that it's fine. I completely agree with you on how sad it must be for people who don't read at all.
