Inability to Explain Surprise

Today I was watching the news with my aunt and my uncle, and Bill Clinton was in Rwanda being interviewed about why he visits there as often as he does and if he feels guilty that he didn't respond to the horrible genocide that was occurring in the country at the time, and I had just recently watched John's and Hank's videos on the subject and was proud that I wasn't ignorant of the event.

While preventing ignorance is a great thing, it is another thing to have to try and explain to two non-nerdfighters why you wish you could tell two adults that who you have never met "Thank you," for what they've taught you. 

Anyways, thank you, and I will try and convert my family members.
