Independence Day

Hello, interwebs. Forgive my absence for the past two Saturdays; I've been on vacation and had no access to my beloved Ning. Thank you so much, Chip, for covering the forum while I was gone. :)

Now, for all the Americans here, it's Independence Day. I wouldn't normally blog about holidays, because most just annoy me, but out of all the holidays, I'll have to say this one is my favorite. Why? The fireworks, of course. If you observe this holiday, what are your plans? And what's your favorite holiday, and why?
