Yeah, what the title says. This is the last week to read, discuss and of course, blurb the book "Prep" by Curtis Sittenfeld. To do any/all of these things you can/should go
here. So far there are only a handful of blurbs/lolcat blurbs so if you have a good one make sure to reply to the discussion with it. And remember, blurbs can't be more than ten words. That being said, maybe amongst the hours you'll be spending suggesting vlogbrother punishments you can get some reading in?
Looking through the replies so far it seems like people either really identify with the main character, Lee Fiora, or they can't stand her. On one hand, there's Katia (Ka-Tee-Uh) Stie, saying;
"I formed no emotional connection to any of the characters and felt it was a very unflattering and inaccurate portrayal of teenagers."
While Ellyn Bailey said, "I loved this book. It's full of simple observations that writers tend to over look. Lee Fiora and I share a lot of the same anxieties and observational tendencies, but I didn't like how insecure she was." And I think anyone who has read "Prep" can admit that Lee is in fact very insecure, the effect that has on people seems to change, but the fact still remains.
If you haven't already, or even if you have and want to add more, go leave your thoughts and opinions on "Prep" and while your there, blurb it as well. Once again, here's the link.
