Les Miserables

I really want to watch  Les Misérables. I just have one problem; I hate musicals. I can't bear watching the actors and actresses singing EVERY SINGLE line. To compensate the fact that I couldn't watch The Phantom of the Opera, when producers brought the play to the Philippines, I bought a copy of the book and read it. So, it is pretty sad that the same thing might happen with Les Misérables. I already have a copy of the book on the top of my study table. Oh well. I really enjoy reading. It is like a lot of secrets are being revealed to me and new friends (through the characters) being introduced. :)

Yes, it's a different experience, but I still prefer books. Sometimes I get to watch some films that I really like and I would go around finding a copy of the books it was adapted from. :) I love watching plays and films too, just no musicals for me. :D

I just went to Les Miz last night, I really enjoyed it, but then, I love musicals.  I don't know that the experience of reading the book will bear much of a relationship to watching the play/movie, but then, I haven't read the book.
