The Best things in life are free

“Yeah right!” is probably what you are thinking now. “The best thing in the world is money”. Well I have another opinion. I, for example, think the best thing in the world is going to the toilet. There you can sit in peace, and let everything go. Unless I accidently forget my smart phone of course. Then it can be one of the most boring things in life. In these situations am I pretty disappointed over myself.

But making a toilet costs money, so I would say: The best things in life are free, but it costs money to get there. Maybe we should exchange the money with a service of trading goods and services? Just imagine the conversations: “I need a sack of flour.” “That will be one pair of jeans and a sweater.” “What! One pair of jeans is enough!” I think it would be funny, but that is maybe because I am a nitpicker, and likes to debate over every little thing in my life.

Some people would say Khadijah Williams got her education for free, but she is only a spoiled brat (read with sarcastic voice) that got her education from rich people.

The only people in the world who get everything they want for free are cynics. One of the great cynics in the world answered that if he could get anything in the world, he would like the one who asked the question to take a step to the left, so he could enjoy the sun. He lived in a barrel and only had a bag of bread. I am not a shrink, but he had to be crazy!

However friends are the best thing in the world, and they are free. Regularly. I do at least have free friends. But as always they cost do get, you have to go places, and going places cost money. You can go to clubs, or sports, or obscure cults if that is your thing. 

So something is free and something isn’t, but after all, all you need in life is oxygen, water, food and shelter.
