My First Attempt (Yeah... I hope to get better with titles)

Hello fellow nerdfighters! 

Okay guys, this is my first ever attempt at blogging so bear with me! So i figure that before I start going on random rants and such I should at least introduce myself to anyone out there who happens to be reading this..

I'm just finishing up my last year of high school, and next year I will be studying criminology (potentially with psychology as a double major) in university. I work at Tim Hortons (a quick place to stop for coffee, cold drinks and snacks for those you you who aren't from Canada) I love to read, and I'll read anything, though I generally read a lot more fiction than non-fiction. I love to learn new things, whether from reading, videos, or from other people.

I am shy, and I mean extremely shy. I would love to meet new people, but I find it difficult, and frankly a bit scary to even say Hi to someone I don't know. Even posting this blog, which will likely only be read by few (if any) people is really stressful.   

I am not a great writer and admittedly I used to really dislike writing, but I'm starting to enjoy it more and more. I'm hoping that this blog will not only help me to improve my writing skills but also maybe reduce my shyness and let me talk to people without stressing out about it as bad. 

Alright! Sorry to bore you, hopefully my next post will be much more interesting. If there's anyone out there reading this some criticism  would be appreciated and feel free to leave idea's of stuff to talk about :)

Thanks! I'm sure your very awesome too hopelesscynic. and mostly don't bite, well.... that's reassuring =p I appreciate the book suggestion Thomas, I'm always looking for new things to read, especially with summer vacation approaching, I'll defiantly check it out :)

hi!!! I'm not bored (yay!) and you're awesome! Succumb to your own awesomeness. I've been blogging for a couple of days, and I've gotta say I'm hooked. It's getting easier and easier! Shyness is an attribute, not a flaw. I can be too loud, so I need people to balance me out otherwise my head will explode (and I need my head). A lot of my friends are really shy and I find it a plus rather than a minus. Peace!
