there,lying beside me, your body is calm, your breathing normal, everything must be okay in your dream. face relaxed everything so neat, i could have painted a picture of you, at that present heart beat. Nothing must have happen until something made you scream. You woke up fusing. i then said it was just a dream,you shook your head. You woke up with such fear in your eyes that you couldn't speak, which wasn't surprise. i took you in my arms and told you it was okay, that you could be afraid. I held you, c rattled you like a mother to her infants and then we laid back down side by side into the night. i brought you close and stroke your hair, you whispered, i think a prayer: I kept lips shut and didn't stop movement . Your eyes slowly closed then locked shut. but of course With all my luck, i failed to sleep, i had your side to keep. I couldn't sleep knowing no one was awake. You could never know, someone could be at stake. I still laid there and Then and then only have i whispered in your ear: there,there child. have no fear, for who you are scared of is very near. i shall protect my deepest one till my time is done. No one will touch, say bad or lie about you as you are my baby, the one and only true. I still have dreams about that same day when i felt like your memories were all washed away. stuff had happen things had changed, i just hoped you forgot that vain, the scars you have cause of that same night when all i did was hold on tight. I have those same scars and wear them with pride, cause they all shall not hide. They are part of my past and part of my futur.
