A surprise house guest appeared at my door day before yesterday. He's a recent immigrant to our shores from a former French colony. His entry was sponsored by our friends, the Geeks O'Nature of Bishop, CA. He makes a lovely house guest. He's very low maintenance, doesn't take up much room and his enthusiasm is infectious. He has told me some of his story and I'll share what I know so far with you. Here is his photo ID. His story will continue in "Comments." Click on photos for enlargement. And now you have to go to the last page first and move forward to get the story in chron order. Don't love that change, ning.

This is not going to end up anywhere near FoM's pipe pics in the thread, but I just had to give an LOL for "P.S. -- are there many gerds talking about their mother's crack (ed) pipe?" :D

And the insanity spreads. We are of peace, always. These photos are lovely. Like the colors and comp. They would fit nicely into my pipe deck. I wish Mr. Peng godspeed.

Oh, NG, that is a 102 year old CAST IRON pipe -- do we consider cast iron biodegradable? My mom's house was built in 1908 and we believe that is the original pipe based on it being on the outside of the house (a back porch was added later), but you can see it coming out the side of the house and running down to the ground. The sewer pipe (on the left) is also cast iron and seems to be fine.

Just say no to crack! That is awesome about Peng and Peep... funny! and wow, that is one cracked pipe! Reminds me of our sewer pipe, but it was more decomposed and turning into soil than cracked... some things should NOT be biodegradable!

I am not sure if I mentioned that my niece met the Bros Peep when she visited us in January (necessary backstory). Well, in addition to all the stuff going on with my mom, her 102 year old plumbing is having issues and my brother who is quite handy is following the situation. I forwarded these pictures by email to my niece and asked her to show my brother and let him know that Mr. Peng (mom's plumber) is making good progress. My niece replies asking if this has something to do with Mssrs Peep! Ha, ha, ha, ha.... oh it makes me so darn happy!

P.S. -- are there many gerds talking about their mother's crack (ed) pipe?

excuse me, NG, your So.Cal is showing! I had never heard of Manny, Mo and Jack until I made my first visit to LA as an adult (guess I didn't notice their signs when I was kid on the way to Disneyland).

Actually, I'm a little concerned because there's something that's come in the mail to Senpa & Oseepa Peep and it's from: THE PEP BOYS.....I'm a little worried because they guys refuse to open the envelope (does envelope really have three "e"s, gosh it looks funny, but even funnier with only two envelop, envlope, nvelope).

THE PEEP BOYS!! hahahah! I love it! I instantly started singing to myself that song by The Incredible Shrinking Dickies, "Manny, Mo and Jack, they know where it's at, 'cause they're Manny, Mo and Jack! If it's tires you want they've got a lot for you / Dunlop, Firestone, Pirelli too! / Manny, Mo-oh (and Jack!) / Manny, Mo-oh (and Jack!) / Manny, Mo-oh (and Jack!) / They know where it's at!"

This early 80's Flashback brought to you by Trader Joe's French Roast Coffee!

Put in the package by a Hobbit, no doubt. :-)
