A surprise house guest appeared at my door day before yesterday. He's a recent immigrant to our shores from a former French colony. His entry was sponsored by our friends, the Geeks O'Nature of Bishop, CA. He makes a lovely house guest. He's very low maintenance, doesn't take up much room and his enthusiasm is infectious. He has told me some of his story and I'll share what I know so far with you. Here is his photo ID. His story will continue in "Comments." Click on photos for enlargement. And now you have to go to the last page first and move forward to get the story in chron order. Don't love that change, ning.

However, I fear that he may regret his move south and may be missing Bishop.

He has a great sense of humor, apparently inherited, and further fueled by his stay with the Geeks O'Nature.

I find Senpa to be very loving. Here he is helping Genna find bugs.

Senpa has been comparatively well received here as he brings many skillz to the table:

Knowledge.

His name is Senpa Peep. This is not the name on his Certificat de Naissance (birth certificate), as Immigration did the usual botch job on that. His father's metier is Art History and his mother is in Metallurgy. Gender roles being what they are, Dad's choice of name prevailed. Here is Papa's source:

This translates to "This is not a pipe" and as this is a rather unwieldy name, even in his country of origin, my guest is rather pleased with his new Americanized name, Senpa Peep. Less spelling involved. And he finds that Americans can become quite aggressive when faced with apostrophes.
