Many people have been talking about the recent action taken by some websites in blacking out their sites, so here is a little more information on it.
As many of you guys will know today signals the start of an internet wide protest against two bills that are trying to be passed by American Congress. Scores of websites from countries all over are world are blacking out in order to protest these bills. Such websites as Wikipedia, Google, Wired and Reddit are among others that are showing opposition to the bills. If they are passed it could severely impact user submitted content on most sites.
