The Hunger Games

Little spoilers in this blog post and the end where they may be a bigger one (something from the end of the book).

First of all, can someone confirm for me that this is Peeta on the book cover. If not, then who? I am really lazy about looking up what hair color he had, only remember that he had blue eyes, and I'm not even sure if I remember correct.
The pic is kind of bad, but that's because the book reflects the light from the flash.

Okay, last week I was reading the first book of the Hunger Games series and I have to say that I really loved the first book.
In the beginning I was a little bored but when it came to the reaping I really got into the book so much more. But then it got a little boring again when they were only in the Capital and it took a really long time before they started to play.
But how the relationship between Katniss and Peeta was really interesting to read about, seeing what Katniss would do to stay alive but later realising that it may be more than about surviving.

I am really bad at writing how I feel about things, easier to say them, so I will write about what really stuck for me. And that was in the end of the games, you know when there were only Katniss, Peeta and Cato left, when those mutts came. When Katniss realized what they really were, I was sitting with my mouth opened and horrified. Seriously, I can't stop thinking about it and never in a good way. Knowing that all those who died became a mutt and most of all little Rue.

So yeah, I've finished the first book and I bought the second one last week. Going to read that soon, wanna know more about what will happen now!
