The Hunger Games Movie

I just saw The Hunger Games movie and it was pretty amazing.

I must say it absolutely exceeded my expectations.

Jennifer Lawrence was great as Katniss. You could definitely see that didn't truly love Peeta. And the Rue's death was absolutely heartbreaking.

 

It felt a bit rushed, though it is understandable since there's a lot of, sort of "still time" in the book. They shortened some scenes, such as the cave and Cato's death. I am also a bit disappointed about the wolf mutts. They just looked like big dogs. I was expecting more like the ones that are in the book: balancing on their hinde legs, collars showing district numbers, and the tributes' eyes. I really would have liked to see Katniss recognizing the different tributes in the wolves, and I can't see why they wouldn't do it as in the book. I mean it could hardly be difficult to animate, and it wouldnt add more than five minutes to the film, but alas. A thing I am really not happy about though, THEY DIDN'T SHOW HAYMITCH FALLING OF THE STAGE!!

(I guess I really went off the in re. the wolves. It's just I reeeaaallly expected more) Other than that it was amazing! You should definitely go see it!!!
