A million thoughts run through my head every moment and sometimes I feel as if my head will explode if I were to think one more thought... Times like this are the times ones needs to STOP, BREATHE and attempt to clear their mind.
If you have followed any of my previous blogs you would know that I have been going through a rough time when it comes to health the past couple years of my life. I have decided that it’s time for all of the “hell” to stop. Sadly most peoples issues are their own doing (whether they choose to believe it or not) The only one whom has any sort of control over your life is you!
*Quite the revelation if I do say so myself* (and I do)
We are so fast to lay the blame of our perceived faults on anything but ourselves when in fact it is our fault... That’s not to say that we are all terrible people for thinking we are not perfect. The point I am attempting to get across here is that we *choose* how we will react to a situation. If someone is being mean and negative towards you you have two options.
1. Believe what they are saying, get all emotional and attract more of those negative emotions into your life...
OR
2. Don’t listen to their negativity and know that you are wonderful the way you are and that you shouldn’t let others insecurities bring you down.
I know that is much easier said than done but it’s worth a try isn’t it? The more often you can choose to positively react to a negative situation, the more often you will have positive situations come into your life.
I believe that the main reason I have not been able to get over my health issues is because I haven’t taken the time to stop the negative thoughts running through my mind. That is where meditation comes in. I truly believe that everyone should meditate as much as they can reasonably fit into their day. When one takes the time to breathe deeply and clear their mind one can increase the vibrational level of their own body. When one has a higher vibrational level one will attract more good into their lives. I don’t know about you but I sure would like that! (Hence the reason I’m now meditating)
I know we are all busy people but even a good 5 minutes daily in silence attempting to meditate can do one wonders. I personally try to do about a half an hour a day because I feel a *WHOLE LOT* better when I take the time to love and care for myself. How can one expect others to love them when they don’t love themselves?
These are just some of the random thoughts running through my mind at the moment. I do find that since I’ve *CONSCIOUSLY* decided to make the effort to think more positive and be more loving towards all I have been feeling better. I may not be 100% back to good health but I am on the right track and I hope anyone else whom isn’t feeling the best can take some wisdom and comfort in my words.
I am wishing you all love and good health <3
Shanti,
