When I came home from school today it was already all over the news.
Another school shotting. 16 people dead. He killed himself. Why he did it? Nobody knows yet, maybe we will never find out.

It makes me sad to think that some people don't know another way out then by killing others and then killing themselves. And again I read the news paper articels and I wonder why nobody noticed anything before. It says he was a calm and quiet boy. I wonder if he felt so alone in the world, that he couldn't talk to anyone about his problems. Did he think about how much pain he would cause by killing other people? Did he think at all?

One of the first things my dad said was: "They'll probably find those shooting games in his house!"
Like PC Games are the real problem. Maybe its because we have alot of incompetent teachers. Maybe it is because he didn't find friends. Maybe it is because society decided who you have to be and if you aren't you are mocked by alot of people. And yeah, maybe, he was just simple a complet nut case.

I wonder how alone you have to feel, that the only way out for you, is grabbing a gun and shooting.

Let's be there for people when they have problems, listen to them and help. Don't make anyone feel bad by mocking them and teasing them. Let's help each other, so that there will always be another solution then taking a gun.

Let's pray for those who are so alone, for those who feel like they have no one they can talk to, for those you don't see another way out.

UPDATE:

There has been an interesting development, that made me understand more about him and less about his parents and surroundings. Apparently he has been with a psychiatrist, because he had depressions. But he quit it. Still he lived at home, with his parents, who owned 15 guns.

Shouldn't a parent, with a kid that has depressions, make sure that those guns are far out of their reach? I don't want to blame the parents, for what has happened, I am pointing out something that is bothering me.

In a Interview I saw, they ask a friend of his, if he was obsessed with weapons. The guy responded yes, and that he actually quit his friendship with the him because of his weapon obsession.

Stil there are people running around, wondering how this could have happened.

People like to blame anything. They have a need to point the finger at the one thing that lead to a disaster. Sometimes it's not that easy.

The kid probably had a very troubled life. Maybe his parents beat him to keep him quiet. Maybe he had something mentally wrong with him that lead him to believe killing was the answer. Maybe he was picked on too much in school, and one kid was the last straw (The straw that broke the camel's back, if you will).

People can blame TV, or Video Games, or the fact that the kid new Karate. Chances are he was mentally unstable enough that the idea of killing was so appealing, he couldn't resist. He was mental, and the video game only gave him the idea.

Many kids play video games. I'll even venture to say that 98% of kids play video games. But how many of these kids go around shooting people? probably only about 2-5%, definitely no more than 20%. So you can't blame the games. You probably should blame the parents.

Chances are, there was something in his upbringing that didn't go well with how his brain worked. Whether he was beat or not is irrelevant. For all we know, the parents are good-natured, and tried their hardest to do what was right in raising their child. But the kid probably just had something in his brain that made him a sociopath, or something that no matter what his parents did, he was just not going to fit right in society.

Perhaps he was alone. I think that if he was, there was something in his brain telling him that he couldn't reach out and find someone to talk to. Perhaps he was taught, probably not on purpose, that people wouldn't want to listen to him. Or that he wasn't important. Or that he was the only one of his kind.

I wish he stayed alive long enough for someone to find out. It might've bettered the world, or at least how we deal with those kinds of kids.

On the bright side, he can't hurt anymore people.
