Yeah, I'm basically in love with BJJ at this point. It's quite similar to kendo actually without all the throws. We HAVE throws, but we focus on the ground-fighting aspect a lot more. I've only been practicing for about 5 months (I'm a 3rd degree yellow-belt) and now I can't imagine ever quitting :)

You should give it a shot ;)

Um...life is alright, I suppose *shrug*. I've just been working and sleeping and such. Right now, I'm extremely in to my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes. I get to choke people and bend their limbs in funny/painful ways....it's pretty great =)

Ugh I just read a summary of it on Wikipedia- gee that book seems depressing. n it's not even set anywhere near a jungle! (unless you count pre-depression Chicago Stockyards as some sort of metaphoric metropolitan jungle. Which I don't :P)

Good luck with the test, although I'm a 1000% (yes, a thousand percent) sure you'll nail it.
