I don't think you need to be brave to be a vegetarian. You just need to want to show your moral standing and ethical beliefs to the world, because every meal I have that includes no meat means that there is less demand for meat and I hope that I'm contributing to a decrease in the sale of meat. So then less food is going to feed cattle just so we can eat the cattle.
