Those sound like excellent goals. Ones I'd love to have as well. Finish the books I already have? That would be wonderful. Read more books of a favourite author? Would be perfect. Read whatever books I feel like? Heaven. Sadly, I will probably do none of those things this year. But definitely good luck with yours! :)
your banner makes me think of the double rainbow thing....its so intense....rainbows now have that effect, and homeless people will soon have the effect of making me think they can all talk in uber-cool radio voices...ah the internet.
So you got John Green books AND Terry Pratchett books? Absolutely awesome. I only started reading Terry Pratchett recently but he's already on my list of favourite-ever authors. I'm waiting until after January (January is HUGE for new YA releases and therefore most of my reading this month will be ARCs sent via the publishers and I have so many of them that I feel guilty reading books that *I* want to read!) and then I'm going to actually get around to reading the second and third Tiffany Aching books so I can read I Shall Wear Midnight as well. Random House kindly sent me a copy free. Can't wait. Anyway, happy reading :)
Aww. Thanks for your really detailed comment. I've heard that Robert Rankin can be really funny, but I've always shied away from reading him as I wasn't sure how well British humour sits with me. It took forever for me to appreciate Terry Pratchett humour though and I still can't really enjoy Douglas Adams. But maybe I'll give him a try..
Also, I read three John Green novels this year for the first time. He really should have gone on my list, but I purposefully left him out. Paper Towns is definitely on my All-Time-Favourites list though.
I have to be honest, I hadn't heard of The Mortal Immortal until you mentioned it..
I think A Tale of Two Cities is the only book I have really properly tried to read of Dickens. I've started others but only half-heartedly. But we started watching a film adaption of it once and it looked really interesting. I was still too young for it. I'm not now but I'm still dragging my feet about it..
my friends and I made it for a school project. It was kind of stupid, but you have to admit it was funny. We (my group and I) just want a lot of views. If you know anyone who might think it's funny or would enjoy it, would you spread the word?
