Nice quote! I am sad to stay that I still haven't read any of John's books :( They are definitely on my list. And, actually, as soon as I finish reading one of my other books (The Woman in White) I'm planning on reading Looking for Alaska.

I'm totally with you on liking almost every kind of movie except for horror... only my problem is not so much the blood as the unbearable eerieness and suspense that's always built up and supported by atmospheric music... and I don't like rap or hip hop much, either :) so we've got a few dislikes in common!
Since the Tolkien quote is your favorite, do you have second favorite quotes? And if so, what are they? I think quotes are really awesome and keeping track of them is a great idea!
