I need to greet you in a different way then "hi" or "hey." Hows that? My friends and i are planning an end of the school year prank, and we have some okay ideas, but they are all insanely hard to accomplish. I was wondering if you had any left over pranks for a bunch of fun deprived 8th grade students to pull of in a last hurrah to the infernal world of Middle School. I can get the help of teachers if needed, but we don't wanna cause the custodians too much trouble, so we're gonna clean it up (if it requires cleaning) ourselves. HELP!
Hey John i jusrt wanted to say (even though you have probably heard it many times befor) that you are and amazing righter(writer), and give a suggestino for Margo in the movie. Zooey Deschanel would be a very good actress, if you have seen the movie Yes Man you will know what i am talking about :)
wow i just realized that i wrote righter....
Greetings John.
I've been an official Nerdfighter since about February and unknowingly one for my entire life. After watching manymanymanymanymany of the brotherhood 2.0 videos and just the vlogbrothers videos, I've been inspired to start my own Youtube channel. I was wondering if you had any pointers or advice on Do's/Don't's of youtube-ing that you you might have. They'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason [BB]
Just wanted to stop in and say, Hi, i'm new to this whole damn thing. However, i think it may be the greatest thing the internet has ever produced, ever.
Hi John...today you came to my school to give a talk, (which was AWESOME) and at the end I gave you a poem called 'Ode to Nerdfighteria' ... I wondered what you thought of it... DFTBA~! :D
Here's a question for your next question Tuesday:
Are you still concerned with the project's carbon footprint? Given the enormous increase in viewers since April 07, the first (only?) time you erased the carbon generated by Brotherhood 2.0, would it be necessary for all the nerdfighters to chip in to pay for its erasing this time?
What about the spin-off projects? What about the carbon of both YouTube and the Ning?
Inquiring minds want answers!
I'm not sure who manages the Youtube channel, so I'll send one of these to Hank too, but the new format of the channel is really, to put it politely, pissy. I'm not sure if Youtube pulled a fast one on you two, or if you changed it, but the new format makes it very hard to access the older videos. I'm still in mid-2008 (as I call it, the Dark Ages, for the lack of order and the fact that so much awesome stuff went on which I can no longer participate in), which means that trying to find the video I'm on is like searching for the Yeti in the first year of the project. Feel free to reply on my page. Hope you can help out with this,
DFTBA,
Me

also, Hank's music was sited on my song-a-day blog!
Ps. John as an aspiring Teen Librarian at my local library, I've become quite a fan of your fiction.
