Hello, Mr. Green, may I interview you?
this will not take long.
question one: Do you see any sci-fi in your future?
question two: Do you think Paper Towns is the Catcher in the Rye of this Era in the regard that it changes maleable people who read it and analyze it, and the fact it is mainly about coming of age and rites of passage?
question three:have you met any other quote un-quote famous authors in your time as a novelist?
Thank you so much for answering my email! I seriously started hyperventalating when I realized you wrote back! I don't know what I expected, but I was surprised!
7:10am: Begin reading Paper Towns
12:43pm: Finish reading Paper Towns
3:01pm: Drive past an exit for Roscoe, NY on the way up to visit family in Canada
3:03pm: Force my mother to get off the highway to look for barns, free-spirited teenage girls or anything labeled Agloe
My search was unsuccessful, but I feel fulfilled anyway. It's pretty amazing to 1. Devour a book in a single morning, 2. Be able to hear the author's voice narrating the story, 3. Feel like you kinda sorta maybe know the author better than the average reader, and 4. Drive through the setting of the climax of a book mere hours after reading it.
Paper Towns told me a lot of things I needed to hear. Thanks for a great read =)
hey John! Check out the new group Purple Finch made for a project called the In Your Pants project, in which nerdfighters try to collect pants for the poor and raise money for a library in Chad!''
Hey John! I saw you today in Chicago and I just want to say that you were SO awesome! You were even more awesome than I thought you could be. You're so funny and smart in your 'experience'-AKA: speech- and you were really nice when I met you and you signed my books. Thanks for all the awesome-you made my summer!
Hey, John, thought you might find this funny. It's from a game called"wizard pairings" at harrypotter.com. Mindless waste of time. It only bases its output on the names entered but here's what it said about you an the Yeti.
Dear John,
I hope you noticed that Hank failed to have a Wednesday song video this week (Wed, July 8).
I believe that this is a punishable offense, considering you had to eat a fat sandwich last time you didn't make a video.
Best Wishes,
Rob :)
John, I felt compelled to let you know that when I was adding An Abundance of Katherines to my favorite books on Facebook, it suggested that the book I was looking to add was "Stop Animal Abuse".
I did some research and found no such book. I've concluded that your books tend to make Facebook go into PETA-mode.
"Grrraoaoawwww Grrraa Grrr, GRRRR" "I will only run for president if they free my home world and allow for this great human snack called donuts to be served everyday"
JOHN!!! I finally got Paper Towns(sad Margo cover)! It was fantastic! All time favorite book. I'm not just saying that because you are the one who wrote it! I was just wondering if you knew how to write and read in crosshatch. You.... ermm Margo said that she wrote in crosshatch and I've looked all over the internet and still I have no idea how. I know that you're busy and thank you for your time. You are as awesome as it gets!
Did you know that your books are in adult fiction at some public libraries? I didn't. I was really confused when I couldn't find any of them, and more than a little distraught.
Here I thought you identified yourself as an author of young adult fiction.

I don't know if you can see it clearly, but I find this ad to fit the topic rather good.
