Let me put it like this. There are people who love famous people. They love the glamour, the money, the fame etc. But would they love the actual person if all of that wasn't there and they were just relating to them like people? Probearbly not. Thats what it's like with God. If God were to show himself to us in his fullness and power etc, people wouldn't have the kind of relationship with him that he wants. He wants us to love him, genuinely and honestly.
No, I don't think that either. Abraham didn't know Jesus, he lived centuries and centuries before Jesus. But he was justified to God through faith. I believe people who don't know anything about Jesus can still encounter God, but that Jesus is the fullest expression of that, so if you reject him and what he says, you've missed the point.
Because if he did that, it would remove choice. God doesnt just want us to believe in him and his existance, he wants us to love him. If you were definite about him, because of who and what he is, you would be, as you said, definitely confirmed and would convert for that. But the fact is he want's you to choose. Not to be forced
Put it this way, God isnt going to specificly punish you before you were aware of what it was you had to be saved from. After that point, if someone can claim that they have not sinned, I should very much like to meet this person.
No, you misunderstood what "Sin removed" means in this context. What it means is the consequence of sin. IE because of Jesus if we don't want to, we don't have to go to hell.
No, because in that case it was forced upon you, but lets say someone did something horrible and you love that person so much that you don't want them to suffer the consequences of that, so you choose to take the consequences on yourself. That is what Jesus is for us. God loves us so much that he does not want us to bear the consequence of sin, so he bore it for us instead.
Because we all are descendents of Adam. If you think that's unfair, then think of it like this. Just as all sin came from one man (Adam) so all sin is removed through one man (Jesus)
1) Jesus does not spend eternity in hell because he, unlike us, was capable of dealing with the punishment of death. We (if we are unrepentent) deserve hell because we have sinned. Jesus did not deserve hell because he had not sinned. The fact that he went at all means he overpowered hell and created a path, a way for us not to go there.
2) You're again working on the principle that they must have done some specific wrong. All people everywhere, no matter how old, have sin. This doesnt mean that all no matter how old will go to hell (see the large body of writing regarding the age of accountability) however what it does mean is that God is entitled to kill any one of us at any time, because the wages of sin are death.
