Hi, I saw your art on the 'show us what you can do' discussion in 'the nerds who draw things' group. It was really good, I was thinking you should check out http://nerdfighters.ning.com/group/nerdfightercollabbook we are always looking for more artists. DFTBA
I WAS watching fma brotherhood, but i fell behind after episode 6 or so. i just didn't have the time to watch it. I love the music in it though. So far, I think it's good though.
Books! Yes, I can for sure help recomend you some. I pretty much have no life, and therefor read a lot. Haha.
I'll start by recomending the books that I'm currently reading.
1) Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. It's really good, I don't know if you like Neil Gaiman, but judging by the genres that you said you liked, I'm sure you either already like him, or will like him! =)
2) Shiver by maggie Stiefvater. I just started this one last night and so far it's really good. Idk if you've read Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr, but it's sort of like that, only not with Faeries.
Now for books I am not currently reading, but love anyways.
3) The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (City of Bones, City of Ashes and City of Glass). I don't really know how to summarize these books, so I'm going to say if you haven't read them your just going to have to look them up and read them yourself. THEY ARE AWESOME. I love them. Clare has three more books coming out as prequils that will take place in renisance england but within the same world created by her first books. They should be just as good!
4)Melissa Marrs books (Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange and Fragile Eternity). I have already mentioned them sorta, but they are books about a girl who can see faeries and is pulled into their world after two start paying her more attention then she would like.
5)The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carry Ryan. This is a zombie book, but done way different then any other zombie book out there. That I am quite sure of. For one the word "zombie" is never used and it's more of a love and and finding yourself and strength novel. It's really good. And I'd recomend it to anyone.
6)Lisa McMann's Wake and Fade. Both books are about a dream catcher who has to deal with her unusual gift and in the process discovers she can really help people. I enjoyed both of them very much have reread them and can't wait for the third in the series Gone.
And for a book not in this genre I'm going to recomend:
8) I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak, one of my all time favorite books. It really makes you think about life afterwards. About your life and that of others. I loved it and it's ending. So beutiful.
