You can always make the FB site on your own. Use the group and the thread to get people to join it kinda. That way it will be easier to organize getting people to join and such, little harder I think if you want someone else to do it.

I can give you some tips to get this started if you want. Firstly you can make a group here on the ning to get the word out more easily. Then you can create a thread in the forum talking about your project and how this will maybe help the nerdfighter community. Due to it being very easy to join I am sure that you'll get at least some people with you by doing these.
