Well, I'm a programmer for a group at Collins LLC, and I plan on extending an invitation for him to come and give a fireside chat at Collins. Don't get your hopes up too high though, who knows if it will happen. I'll let you know if it does though!
Coincidentally, I actually have a print of "Nighthawks" hanging above my mantle. Yeah, yeah, I know it's a bit cliche', but I really like it.
When I finally got a decent camera, I decided that the simplest thing to do would be to just go out and shoot things that I enjoyed. Since I love exploring old abandoned houses, I decided that would be a good place to start. Those places kind of relax me and let my imagination wander, so I guess I just wanted to try and capture that feeling. It's like Chris Van Allsburg's "The Mysteries of Harris Burdick". I think it's more about making up stories to go with the images than the images themselves. Simple pictures leave more room for you to fill in the gaps. I like that.
