Wow. This message is getting to be insanely long! And I am entirely too lazy to copy-paste it somewhere or keep going back and forth, so I'll just make it up as I go along.
It sounds like you did a lot of stuff! That's crazy! It seems like you had a lot of fun too. I'm going to start working with kids soon (I hope). It's required for my education degree. I need 350 hours in two years, so that's going to be a great deal of fun <----Sarcasm. I am looking forward to it though. Just not 350 hours.
So I've been pretty busy lately! Yay! I went to a family reunion this week... it was absolute insanity. My goodness. I'm half Italian, so you know how Italians supposedly have huge families? It's totally true. I know a lot of people on my grandpa's side, like, my second and third cousins and such, but this reunion was on my grandma's side, and I don't know them as well. It was so weird though. I hardly knew anyone, and my cousins and I were just looking around wondering how we could possibly be related to all of them. I mean, I met my 6th cousin. That's how huge this thing was. But OMG. I guess someone from my family moved to England, so there were BRITISH PEOPLE THERE!!! And I didn't know that! And this guy just comes over to talk to my cousins and me, and we're just like "... k. It's another guy we don't know but are apparently related to." And then he started talking and he had an accent and he was hilarious and we all just about died. It was amazing.
So yeah. That's pretty much been the extent of my excitement for this week. Except now it's 5 in the morning and I'm not even tired because I drank waaaay too much caffeine but I need sleep because... well... I don't really know why, but I do. Except it's never going to happen. So that's unfortunate. Anyway, I'll go try to sleep now. Talk to you later!
Oh wow! You sound really busy! Hah. I keep reading your comment, and then I come here and completely forget everything. It's a problem. Anyway, that Mission Possible thing sounds amazing! I wish we had something like that here. That would make me happy.
Those assumption of the personalities of my dogs were actually very, very accurate! Excellent job with that! I'm actually more of a cat person I think. We've never had a cat, but I kind of like them better. My dogs are really clingy, and sometimes I just don't feel like being licked and breathed on.
Anyway, this summer... I don't really have a lot of huge plans. Right now I'm just busy going to graduation parties and working. I went to four parties today! Lots of food! But my friends and I played hide and seek for about four hours. We used my entire neighborhood, so there was an awful lot of running involved (Doctor Who reference intentional). It was really fun though! My friend and I hid in a tree, and the other guys walked right underneath us three times. It was mildly hilarious. But now I have a big scrape on my arm from climbing down.
The rest of my summer is going to be working a lot, and hopefully hanging out with my friends a lot. I'm going to miss a lot of them when I go to college. One of my best friends is going to Colorado, so that's going to be kind of sad. This summer should be fun though. I'm pretty excited.
OOH! Last week (actually, it was the day I graduated), my friends and I got to see Basshunter! It was SO. AWESOME. I got to meet him! I nearly died. I just have this problem around awesome people. They somehow make me unable to speak. I mean, when I met John, I couldn't talk to him AT ALL. I was all like "...hi." and now when I met Basshunter, I was all like "...hi." I really have to get better at this. He was so nice though! And he had an awesome accent! It was a very good day. I've been having a lot of good days lately. Hooray for good days!
So what is your project for Mission Possible? And what kind of camp are you going to? I love camps. They're always so much fun!
Just me and my grandma, it's the solar eclipse of the century when we go and as we are interested in that sort of thing, we're going.
mission possible? what's that?
I'm not one for camping; it brings out the worst in me, I get really grouchy from lack of sleep and then I fall out with the friends that I go camping with. Not fun.
Im not doing much this summer except for the going to china sea for 10 days in Jully. But that's the only exciting thing happening for me. How about you?
hey, yeah it has been a while. I actually haven't been on this website in ages. I pretty much forget about it amongst all my other bookmarks. How've you been? What do you mean you're surprised by some of my music taste?
I finally finished almost everything! Hooray! Now I just have to read a lot more (I was an idiot for taking 3 literature classes in one semester. Don't do that), and then I have final exams, and then I'm all done! It's exciting, but I'm nervous too. We never got summer homework, which is nice. Sometimes I wish we had summer reading lists or something though. I always have trouble finding new books. That's why nerdfighters are awesome. They have some amazing book recommendations!
Ooh. Paying. There is a lot to pay for. I don't like it. Just don't get into an accident. That's never a good thing. I accidentally hit my dad's van while I was backing out of the driveway once. >.< That was not a fun day. My parents just got a new car! It's shiny! I like it.
Tennis is fun. I would play next year, but I'm a little bit afraid that my knee will attack me again. If it happens too many more times, the doctor said I'll need surgery, and I don't want that!
I graduate next week! EEEEE! Exciting! You're done with school next week too then. That's exciting! I love summer. Summer is always fun. We have a drive in movie theater literally 2 minutes away from my house, so I go there all the time with a huge group of friends. It's epic! We're going next week actually. With my college friends, whom I haven't seen in about a year. I'm excited. it's going to be fun.
Wow! That is a lot of sports! I'm not athletically inclined. Rather uncoordinated, really. I trip a lot. It's bad. Good for you for doing so much though! School is always a lot more fun when you have things going on. I'm glad you're having fun too! Fun is always a good thing to have.
That's really awesome! I wouldn't have thought of that. It sounds like a lot of fun too! Now I want my family to do that to me next time I have presents. Except then I'll probably get angry at them for hiding all of my presents. It would be fun for about 5 minutes, then I would get frustrated. Lol.
Awww! Your dog sounds awesome! I have two dogs. Sadie, she's a collie and german shepherd mix. She's getting old, but she's still awesome, even though she smells really bad sometimes. And then Zoie. She's mostly beagle. She's something else too, but nobody knows what it is. She's about 3, and she's really, really fat. We call her barrel dog because she's shaped like a barrel. She's funny too. She likes to chase rabbits and she freaks out whenever she sees one. We got both of our dogs at the animal shelter.
Haha. It's okay that you haven't been on for a long time. I hardly noticed because I haven't been on for a long time either. So busy! Do you have any plans for the summer yet?
Ugh. Lots of projects. I have to make a movie for films (which is going to be awesome, by the way. I'll put it on youtube when it's finished), I have a big journal project for one of my lit classes, a presentation on Crime and Punishment for my other lit class, a 10 page research paper, a Spanish project, and I had a solo project for band, but I did that last week. Yay! So yeah. I've been pretty busy.
I was really, really happy when I got my car. My parents picked it out for me because I didn't get a chance to go to Madison with them, so I was really, really nervous. I love it though, so they did a good job. ^_^

I graduate on June 7th. So far away! OOH OOH OOH!!!! GUESS WHAT I'M ALSO DOING ON JUNE 7th? I'm going to see Basshunter!!!!!! In Chicago!!!1! I'm so excited, I could die. I hope I don't though, because that would be bad and I wouldn't get to see Basshunter. Hehe. I can't wait.
Questions:
The ones you asked!
What did you do for Mother's day?
Do you have any pets?
Awesome days are... well... awesome! I'm glad you got one! Sounds like you deserved it. I'm sure I'll get one soon enough. Probably shortly after all of my massive school projects end.
Ooh. Silver. That's awesome! You probably can't wait to get your license, can you? That's amazing. I have a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, but if you're like me and have no idea what that means, here's a picture! This isn't mine, but it looks exactly the same!
Oh wow! That's amazing! Haha. I'm glad you had so much fun. Too bad that your friends were being mean though. :( Ah well. Sounds like there was a lot of good stuff to make up for that!
That's so awesome that you won a car!! Wow! I would be sooooo happy! I'm still paying for my car, which I bought over a year ago, so that's really, really cool! Haha. You must have been really surprised! What color is it?
Awwwwww! Your first kiss!!!! That's so exciting!!! That must have been like, the best day ever!!! I'm really happy for you!
I haven't really had an awesomely good day for a long time, it's kind of sad, but I think there should be a few after school is done. Everyone's just so busy now that all I've done in a long time is go to school, go home, go to work, and do homework. Lots of homework. I need a happy day like yours! :D
You should watch it sometime! It's my favorite. And yay for not watching excessive amounts of TV! I just don't like many shows in the US. Most of them are just really, really stupid. Except for Mythbusters. And Scrubs. Those ones are good.
Hmmm... I would probably join the tribe where you had to get 50 piercings because in the other one, they can't take the rings off of their neck or bad stuff will happen... and apparently they're really heavy and unpleasant. What about you?
It's okay! I don't watch much TV either. Just Doctor Who, which I have to watch online anyway because it's not popular in the US. It's really, really good! It's been around since the '60s, but they're making new ones. It's basically this British sci-fi show about this guy, The Doctor, who travels through time and space and saves the Universe a lot. It's really hilarious too! One of the funniest shows I've ever seen.
Oh wow. You know the sad part is that I didn't even realize that I was being random until you pointed it out. I suppose I was though! Haha. Lalala. I don't know what to talk about now. Do you watch Doctor Who? I've recently been obsessed. It's a problem.
EEEEE! I'm really excited. I hope it works out! I really want to see him. I like Coldplay in the sense that I don't dislike them... I don't have a lot of their music or anything though.
Happy Easter to you too! Sounds like a lot of fun! I just peeled a bunch of potatoes. Many, many potatoes. Do you like hard-boiled eggs? I don't. It's kind of unfortunate, but it's okay because my brother eats them all. :D I got a chocolate bunny! Yay!!!
I love Basshunter so much! And DotA is amazing as well. Have you heard any of his new music? I really like Camilla. It's amazing. I guess he's coming to the US sometime, and he'll probably go to Chicago, so my friends and I are trying to figure something out in case that happens. It would be amazing!
My family is here. It like a crazy place now. Yup. So they'll be here over Easter. We're just going to go to church and then eat. Hopefully I get a chocolate bunny too. Those are my very favorite. Mmmmmm. That's about it. My family took my bed for the weekend though, so now I have to sleep on the floor in the basement. Not so bad, but inconvenient and cold. Ah well. What about you?
EEeEEEE! Your music player just started playing Basshunter. Have you always had that on there? It's one of my favorite songs too! YAY!
There are about 600 people in my school (I think). Things are starting to calm down though. The kid who's responsible for one of the threats turned himself in, so that's good. I hope my band program stays awesome foreverly too! I would be deeply saddened if it didn't!
I know. Nothing much has happened since then, but the Middle School had a bomb threat too. That was probably just some kid hoping to get out of school early though. The security has gone WAY up though. They're checking bags and not letting people into the halls and stuff. Crazy. And since the one on Thursday said "I'm going to blow up the school next week," everyone assumed that that meant next Thursday. As a result, everyone stayed home. We got a letter from the principal, apparently 48% of the school was gone! That is A LOT of people!
Heh. Yeah, the director was crying too, and so was our other director. It was horribly depressing, but I'd much rather he retire than the younger one losing his job. He's only been at our school for 2 years. But a director at the middle school is retiring too. This is also disappointing, but also good. He was pretty experienced, and Mr. Schilt (my director) has been teaching at my school for 33 years and has his Master's degree in music, so those two leaving is going to free up A LOT of money, which means we might be able to hire 2 new directors for less than it would cost to keep one. This is happy, because our band program is pretty much amazing, and the administration wanted to cut a director, which would, in turn, destroy our program. Hopefully this won't happen now though!
Sounds like you had fun! That's good! As for me, a lot has been going on, which is definitely not normal. I live in a boring town with boring people, this kind of thing just doesn't happen here! Allow me to explain.
On Thursday last week, we got a bomb threat at my school. Someone had written on the wall something to the effect of "I'm going to blow up the school next week." So everyone freaked out and we had to go outside and sit on the football field for like, 2 hours. It was freezing! So then after that, everyone was talking about it all weekend, but the school didn't really do anything about it. No extra security or anything, which is saying something because we don't really have any security here to begin with.
So then today (Monday) we had ANOTHER threat. Apparently this one said "I'm serious, everyone's going to die." So we all had to go to the elementary school across the street and sit there.
While we were there, my favorite band director/teacher EVER called all of the band students into the music room and told us he was retiring! EVERYONE was crying! There were people crying who I didn't even know had the ABILITY to cry. It was SO SAD! The only good thing that came of that was that the younger band teacher (whom I also love) will get to keep his job now because he was going to be cut because of the budget. So that was happy, I suppose.
Now, IMMEDIATELY after this occurred, the fire alarm at the elementary school went off so we had to go stand outside again, and it was even colder today! As it turns out, some stupid freshman had pulled the alarm and got arrested for it. Brilliant.
So basically, now nobody knows what's going to happen next. Nobody knows if they're serious or not, if they're going to blow up the school, come in with a gun, or whatever. We don't know what the administration is going to do at all... It's scary.
