Hello! Svenska Nerdfighters FTW!
Nu vet inte jag om du bor nära Stockholm, men vi ska iaf ha en gathering på lördag! Om du har möjlighet skulle det vara super-awesome om så många NFs som möjligt kom. ^^
Hahah, just make celebrate your own vegetarian Thanksgiving tomorrow or something and pretend! :P
You're making tshirts at school? That's awesome! Like screen-printing? & that would be so cool!
Awh I'm so sorry you hate it! I think cultural hoidays are awesome. Although it does sound a bit silly, you should be proud of your Swedish heritage and maybe try to find the good out of it. (:
Var det du som hade den där loppmarknaden till Hank, jag menar det finns og fler svenska nerdfighters än du, men jag kommer ju aldrig få veta om jag tänker såhela tiden :P ^^
Evil. That is the absolute PERFECT word to describe computers. They are evil.
You can come with us! We will come get you in Sweden! It will be awesome.
I'll make you one too and mail it!
Thanksgiving is a really nice holiday. I just like getting together with my family and having a really nice time. Although, I'm don't eat meat (or many animal products for that matter) so I eat very non-traditional foods on Thanksgiving. :P
But it doesn't bother me because traditional Thanksgiving food is so boring and cliche.
Are there any holidays you celebrate that are specific to Sweden?
:O!
This is so awesome! I'm throwing a party for you to celebrate! *confetti*
Don't even worry! It's totally okay. Computers break all the time. Completely understandable. Mine breaks almost on a daily basis (not even kidding) :P
Of course the entire book is brilliant! I can't even pick a favorite part.
I make Paper Towns references to my friend Travis on a daily basis, and finally one day he's like "I WANT TO READ PAPER TOWNS!" And it was a very exciting moment. I think he's about halfway done, and finally gets a lot of my Paper Towns jokes. We want to go on an adventure very similar to Margo and Q's now. (:
I love when they all go on the roadtrip to find Margo. WORLD'S BEST GRANDMA! (once Travis finishes the book I'm making him a tshirt like that. :P)
Awh don't worry! That's only a year after I graduate! :D
Haha It's when your eye gets really irriated and gross. John had it really badly during B2.0 :P But thank you so much! I'm all better now, so it's all good. & I'm glad you're better now! I've pretty much been sick since August and I hope I get better soon. :P
Hahah "the hardest thing you learn is 60 + 20, or how to tie your shoes" That struck me funny. :P
& wow the school system in Sweden is really different from here. Ours works like this:
When you are either 4 or 5 years old (it depends on when your birthday is) you start elementary school and you continue that until you're in 5th grade when you are about 10 years old.
Then you go to middle school which is 6th grade to 8th grade.
Then you go to high school when you are either 13 or 14, which is 9th grade to 12th grade and you graduate when you are either 17 or 18.
Then it is a realllyyyyy smart idea to go to college/university after that. A lot of people do that now, but years ago a lot of people wouldn't go to college.
& hahaha that's so funny! :D Sounds really fun! (:
I'm in 11th grade now, making me a junior in high school. What grade are you in? How does the school system work in Sweden?
Indie rock is awesome & I love it too. (: & I'm not a fan of R&B either. I can take some heavy metal though. :P & that sounds great! Is the banjo fun? That's such a cool instrument to be able to say you know how to play. (:
Oh that's no fun! Nerdfighters in Sweden should be able to get it to! But I'm glad you're getting it! :D
Oh that's awesome that we're the same age!
I love all kinds of music. I'm mostly really into punk rock and ska. But absolutely anything with musical instruments fascinates me. I've been playing guitar for almost 5 years can play a little piano and drums. I also plan on investing in a ukulele very very soon. (:
What kind of music do you like?
Well that's good! & haha that's kind of funny. :P But I'm glad you're doing well with it. :D
& yeah, I used to be really into it when I was younger, I have all the markers and ink and paper and everything still. I want to start again. :P
& Yes! As much as I loved Katherines, Alaska was just...phenominal. Although Katherines did have me laughing out loud throughout most of the book. :D & Paper Towns comes out in 12 days! *throws confetti*
& unfortunately I didn't start watching John and Hank until January 2008. ): What about you?
That's so awesome that you can speak Japanese that well! Is it difficult? It seems like it would be difficult. (:
& I used to draw anime and manga all the time! That's so awesome of you! :D
& thank you so much. :)
& love both of John's books, but I think I like Alaska a little better than Katherines. I'm realllyyyy looking forward to Paper Towns though, I think once I read it it might be my favorite? What's you opinion?
Your story sounds really awesome to me! You should think more highly of it! (:
& I definitely want to live in London for at least a little while too. That would be really awesome. & that's awesome that you're learning French and Japanese! My friend Leah can speak French and Japanese pretty fluently. (:
& your grammar is fine, so don't worry. (:
Umm my interest would include: books (typical Nerdfighter :P), music (listening and playing), art (reallyyyyy into art. I plan on going to college for art), and umm I don't know...just normal teenage things I suppose? What about you?
