I just started watching the brotherhood 2.0 videos from the very beginning of 2007. I love 'em. I love the new videos too. Thanks for the best use of too many hours that should've been spent doing work. DFTBA :)
I normally have a hard time with verbal expression of love, specifially with "I Love you",because word is both a word and an action and way to often people use the former with little regard to the latter. So for me when I use the phrase "I love you" I feel that I'm cheating the recipient because I'm attempting to squeeze every aspect that makes them a cohesive, engaging, beautiful individual into the space of three words. However, watching this video made me realize that I'm just bad at expressing myself. You (Hank) In three and a half minutes expressed your natural fascination with life and the ecology that surrounds it and capped it off with an "I love you". Those words were powerful because you didn't know how to express your excitement for all the things you appreciated about your surroundings without tying into the things and people you love and why it touched you in that way. That perfect moment removed every cynical thought I ever had the indifference to produce. So I wanted to say thank you for removing a good amount of suck from my personal psyche. I'm so glad to be a Nerdfighter and I'm excited to try to contribute in whatever way I can. DFTBA. (but you've been doing this longer than me so please any instructions are welcome!)
Hi Hank! I'm a new Nerdfighter, but a HUGE fan of what all you and your brother do! :) I relied on Crash Course Bio for last year's exams and Crash Course World History this year, and I love the Vlogbrothers videos as well. This is just a shout out to say thanks for all you do!
Hank, I have to thank you for the Census Analysis video. It was very touching. Someday, my dream is just to talk to you to see what you would say about me, pretty selfish, but I want to thank you so much for everything you have ever done. I am here because of you and John and if you ever need anything, I am here for you too.
Can you create an episode about dinosaurs on Scishow? Coz they are damn awesome! This is the only platform to tell you by the way, coz i dont have any social media platform. (sorry if i spelled it wrongly...)
Hello Hank. I'm a relatively new NerdFighter and I was introduced to you+your brother by my other nerdy friend:) Thanks for bringing in laughter n awesomeness in to my dull life. I watch your videos every time I use the computer, n I have to say, they are made of pure awesomeness:) So until next time, DFTBA.
Hey hank! I am a new nerdfighter, and due to the awesomeness of your videos, i have decided to watch them all. now i did try and calculate how much time i need to devote to these. If every video is 4 minutes (and most of them are, plus there are some really long ones to counter the short ones so im going with four) and there is 1008 vids, then i found i need to spend two days, sixteen hours and 48 minutes on u guys. you may want Daniel to check my math though :) So far I have gotten through Brotherhood 2.0 and up to Oct of 2008. I'll tell you that not being able to suggest punishments and help with secret projects because they happened years ago sucks. Although the amount of anti-suck that your videos have put into my life counteracts that by like, a googolphlex! (Google it :) haha)
Hank if you can, is there any possibility of you continuing the novel you started to write a super long time ago while John was finishing papertowns? you did two short readings of it and it ended in a total clifthanger (even after you said how much you hate clifthangers)!!!! please allow the story to be read by nerdfighters!!!
You never forget to be awesome! And thanks for that
