About Me:: I am a youth services librarian in northwest Michigan. I have a gorgeous little four-year-old daughter, Grace, and love to volunteer for organizations that are truly making changes in the world around us. If everyone took a baby step to make this world a better place, we could advance by leaps and bounds.

Favorite Books: Entirely way too many to name. I am a librarian after all. However, some of my favorite teen books include Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Looking for Alaska by John Green, Pirates by Celia Rees, The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing by M.T. Anderson, Twilight (and related books) by Stephenie Meyer, Uglies (and related books) by Scott Westerfeld plus about a zillion others that I am sure I am forgetting as well as a million zillion that I have yet to read!

What's your favoite thing to put on your head?: My very cool and totally awesome plaid hat.

If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?: My baby girl. She's amazing to dance with. Especially when we're being happy and silly.

What Be Your Nerd Type? Your Result: Literature Nerd Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works. It's okay. I understand.
