A poem to my father dealing with my upcoming move to California
Caged Bird
Wait
Watch
Learn
Idle
All my life I’ve waited
Tethered to a leash
Always returning to the same place
Barely room to stretch my wings
Leashed, caged
Free only in taunting words
Freedom so close I can taste it
But I cannot sink in my teeth
I don’t want to wait
I’ve watched for too long
This place can teach me nothing
I cannot idle any more
A new door opens
Opportunity beckons
And I can feel it
Freedom at my fingertips…

Generally summer means going outside, being active, being in the sun... All that jazz.
For me, summer means sweltering inside because going outside isn't much better and I burn so easily it's not worth the effort... but it's apparently not worth the effort to do anything else either. Nothing interests me... I sort of forgot about YouTube in the past week, was slacking on my videos... And generally I've been sulking. Since finals ended:

So, I may not be as big of an ecogeek as Hank, but when my friend sent my this link, I got interested. It tracks where the everyday items Americans rely on come from and where they go when we're done. I've found it very insightful

I love your name (user name). It projects this "I mean business" type feeling. Formal and epic.
So yeah.....O.o that's pretty much all I wanted to say.
DFTBA!
I saw Wicked at the Apollo Vic in London. It was really great!
That's all. :]
I think that you should if you're up for the challenge. :]
I agree. Foot boards really shouldn't be that sharp. You should write a letter. I don't know to whom, but a letter sounds like it could make a difference.
