About Me:: I'm an ancient nerdfighter, being 40, um...million years old, lol, and have even been called treebeard by some which is fine by me since I love lotr. Now I've had some comments so let me define what I mean by ancient--wise(hopefully, lol), experienced, and mysterious, full of hidden knowledge, like the pyramids, ;) Old doesn't feel like it has anything to me and never will I guess. Old feels rigid, ancient feels like learning and evolution---things I adore. i am made out of curiosity. you sg1 fans will get my ancient reference!

Oh and I just joined twitter, username treebeard, and my youtube account is serenitynerdfighter, and in my pants i'm serenity.

I love all the amazing people i've met and look forward to getting to know even more.

ning pixies are unfriending my friends O.o

So if you've noticed that we don't seem to be ning-friends anymore it's because the ning pixies have capriciously unfriended us. It seems to have happened a few times in the last month or so. So re-friend request dear nerdfighter, and we'll hope the ning sprites will be more beneficent.

Weirdness in the Land of Serenity is a weird sentence. Good title for something though. Like a book or an album.

The verterans thing was interesting. We only played a few songs. I was cracking up a lot though. We played the star spangled banner and the flag was raised and our band director was just telling us to put out things up when this lady with a microphone said "and now the Steele Band will perform the star spangled banner." Mrs. X was not very happy about this but she told the drummers to roll for 5 and I'm pretty sure we started playing before the lady finished talking. But I thought it was funny. Hell hath no fury like a band director, pissed.
