What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
The kind that's made of awesome. Is there another kind?
About Me:
I'm a mother of 2, Young Adult librarian, aspiring writer, and total geek. I grew up in Broken Arrow, OK and have lived in Connecticut since 2000. I have been happily married since 1996 and have two daughters born 2002 and 2004. I am also the proud owner of a boxador (boxer lab mix) named Oscar who looks amazingly like Scooby-Doo. I also have 2 cats who love me, and the feeling is usually mutual.

Paper Towns and Suite Scarlett Reviews

So, I was browsing the new Booklist a few days ago. For those of you who aren't librarians, that is a monthly publication with book reviews. I get very excited when it comes. I was even more excited to see that they reviewed both Paper Towns AND Suite Scarlett. The best part is that they were both Star Reviews. That means they are recommended reads. AWESOME. Wanna know what they wrote? About Paper Towns, Michael Cart writes, "Green ponders the interconnectedness of im… Continue

Dairy Queen

by Catherine Gilbert Murdock Don't let the title fool you. This is not just a girlie book. Actually it's about football. Don't get me wrong, not ALL about football. If it was I would hate it, not being a sports fan, but it actually made me a little interested in football. It's told from DJ Schwenk's poin to of view. She is a 16 year old farm girl who is struggling t… Continue

The Jane Austen Book Club (DVD)

I saw this movie on the shelves and, not knowing anything about it, thought I'd check it out. It was really good. The cast is great. The story is a bit romantic, but not totally a girl movie. A group of friends starts a book club. They decide to only do Jane Austen book. One member just got divorced, one is her lesbian daughter, one raises dogs and has never been marr… Continue

Juno

I am probably the only Nerdfighter that had not already seen Juno. I finally watched it last night. I am in Juno love! How awesome is that movie? I think the best way to sum it up is "Thundercats, GOOOOOOO!"

Yes, I love The Outsiders.
And thank you for agreeing that I'm super cool =]

And hehe, I honestly had NO idea that Hank was going to be putting clips of people's covers in his new video, so when I went to watch it I saw myself and went "ZOMG"

So cool.

I'll look into the last 2 you mentioned. But as you'll see on my Saturday video, I'm currently reading Evil Genius and King Dork. I'll have to finish most of the book I have right now, my reading list is very long. =]

What books are you reading right now?

Yeah.. but if oyu think about it, he probably gets tons of people asking him to put stuff on the front page a lot.. it may have to be bigger of a project for him to notice.

But keep on trying! He'll notice someday. =]
