I went to Awanita this year to improve last years experience of being on summer staff. In fact the exact opposite happened. It was fun, and I had a great time in all, but it was just a lot more stressful than last summer. Well that and I also didn't fracture a bone last year.

I fractured the fibula bone. That's the tiny bone right on top of the ankle joint. Not only did I fracture the bone it also pushed the joint out of socket a little bit.

I like what Delightfully mediocre said in a comment to my last blog. She said that she considers disappointment and rejection a difference of Opinion. I find that to be more opptimistic and doesn't hurt as much to think of it like that. SO I'd like to thank you first before I start telling you what happened. Anyway it's day five of the BEDA. So far I'm in the clear of at least completing a week without missing a day. lol. *Thank goodness for Pickens County being on Spring break!*

1.) I'm going to Camp Awanita this summer to work for my second summer in a row!!! I love that place. I love the people, and the atmosphere. It's a really great place to reevaluate your life. I am just hoping this year is going to be better than last year. Last summer was equally my best and worst summer ever. I'm not going to go into that, but it's true. I'm just hoping that I can create strong bonds than I did.
