About Me:
I am in my last year of studying to become a therapeutic counsellor in the person-centred approach. I have my own on line clothing business which I will be running until I qualify to become a counsellor. I like to read, draw,watch films, go walking and spend time with the people I love. I will be getting married next year to a bagpipe playing computer nerd. I am an animal lover and a dedicated vegetarian who doesn't buy any products tested on animals.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
My favourite bands are Muse, The Divine Comedy and Skunk Anansie.

My favourite books are A Therapist's View of Psychotherapy: On Becoming a Person by Carl R Rogers, The Prestige by Christopher Priest, Hyperspace by Michio Kaku and Light Music by Kathleen Ann Goonan.

My favourite films are The Matrix, The Road and District 9.
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?

Thank you so much for your comment about The Graveyard Book. I'm so happy to hear that people have picked books up on my recommendation and loved them.  That's lovely. You're training to be a counsellor? How fab.  The CS Lewis book sounds quite interesting.  A little sad, but hopeful as well.

 

I'm always reading up a storm and have been lucky enough to pick up some great ones lately!

It is pretty good :) And I've not heard of that book or the author. I only sort of dabble in scifi though. It doesn't seem to be a genre that is too filled with women authors though!

Well, I really recommend The Graveyard Book! I've only just finished reading it for the second time. I cried both times, but only a tear at the end (and I'm a big crier at books!) So hopefully that won't put you off :)
