About Me:

Hello, my name is Cara, and I am a self-proclaimed Maker of Art.
I'm 18 years old, living in a little ol' town in Ohio, taking life as quietly and peacefully as I can, one day at a time. Even though, it doesn't seem to work. For hardly ever interacting with people face to face, I sure do have a chaotic life.

I like to sing, dance, twirl flags and rifles, draw, paint, splatter, light fires, dig holes, write, bathe in Sunshine and Lovely, laugh, run, live, dream, render 3D stuff sometimes, brainstorm, and hang stuff up on my walls. And make messes, of course.

Anyways.
I'm going to to a trade school for Graphic design, and I'm already almost done with my first year. It's very nice there, very fun, but the work load is enormous, and it's super hard to keep up with (especially with my procrastination habits). Even now, I'm procrastinating, and I'll probably get myself in trouble later because of it. xD
I hang out in the Meebo and Skype chats quite often, so if you'd like to talk, stop by sometime! Or you can ask me for my MSN, Yahoo IM, email address... whatever. I don't mind. I love listening to people's stories and hearing about their lives.
As you can tell, I love to draw. I also adore music (both listening and playing), and anime. I love to read books, though I really can't find time anymore, and I also love to play video games. Yay!

Yeah, I'm pretty much not a picky person. Haha. I'm easily amused, and I rarely hate things or people.

About my Images

All the pictures below were drawn by me, whether by hand or on the computer. Some of the images I used special brushes on, combined various things with effects and whatnot. I don't want to take credit for the brushes, as I did not make them. But the images presented before you are of my layouts, my color choices, my layering, my masking, my time, my effort, and in case of pencil drawings and photoshop renderings: my talent. I did not trace anything except for the vector graphics.

I'm writing this blog post because I can't seem to sleep. Half because I, legit, am restless, and half because I can't seem to let myself fall asleep. You have some lovely portraiture; someone told me once that the complexities of the human face are some of the most challenging things to capture successfully. I don't know if its true, but you can always tell whether an artist is worth their salt if they can do portraiture. I love doing portraiture myself, but I always find the biggest challenge is in doing fingers and toes!)
