"Because Tennessee is full of backwards fundamentalists. They just passed a law on Monday that will allow *gag* creationism and climate change denial to be taught in science classes. I'm ashamed to live here."
"Hell no. Did you hear about the fit everyone threw over Obama's potential Islamic beliefs that don't exist? Hell would freeze over before an openly atheist candidate was elected president.
I'm optimistic that this could…"
"I think it is possible but unlikely. People will say that they have no morality and that a person with no morals can't run the country. Even though that neither statement is true (aethiests do have morals and lets be honest to be a…"

The ecogeek that sits in mud holes for hours, disguised as a bush, binoculars in one hand, a carrot in the other.
I'm a vet student, with a huge interest in Zoology, Behavioural Ecology, and generally all kinds of sciency stuff that revolve around biology.
I am also a running and yoga enthusiast (take that geeky image!) and care deeply about being as green as possible, trying constantly to keep my ecological footprint in check.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
Books: Harry Potter ALL the way. I keep rereading them regularly; those books are very, very much part of my life.
I also enjoy Richard Dawkins' writing and generally like to read scienc-y stuff. Right now I'm reading Sherwin Nuland's "How We Die".
Music: I love movie soundtracks and classical music the most. Also: The Kooks, Bloc Party, The Killers, The Strokes, just to name a few.
TV: House, Private Practice, Lie to Me, and Grey's Anatomy
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
I do love hats. Soft, squishy, woolly hats.
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
