About Me:

I'm 18, I live in DC, I go to AU. I've lived in Geneva and Bern (Switzerland), Fort Collins (Colorado), and Dover/Sherborn (Massachusetts). I speak German and Swiss-German, rudimentary French, a teeny bit of Chinese, and I'm taking Arabic classes this semester.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more

Books: Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Macbeth, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Beowulf, The Odyssey, 1984 and Animal Farm, Brave New World, Illusions and Johnathan Livingston Seagull, Fahrenheit 451, Cat's Cradle, Calvin and Hobbes, Bloom County; Movies and plays: The Lord of the Rings, Monty Python, Young Frankenstein (and anything else by Mel Brooks), Kill Bill (and anything else by Quentin Tarantino), Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Clockwork Orange (and most of Kubrik's films), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, the aforementioned Shakespeare plays, musicals like Wicked, Rent, and The Lion King, WAR HORSE (which is my favorite thing on stage ever); music: adult alternative, classic rock, Celtic and New Age, symphonic metal, and Gregorian (I'm not religious, but that music kicks ass). Mythology: Ancient Greek, Egyptian, and Norse are my favorites, but Indian and Japanese mythology is interesting as well. My favorite gods are Artemis, Pallas Athene, Dionysos, Loki, and the Valkyries.

If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?

Loki, from any mythology/comic/movie/etc. I love Loki.
