Being "Bonkable"

I've been menaing to write my thoughts about this for ages and have finnaly gotten round to it but as a result the article I'll be referencing is kind of old now.



The other week I was reading the supplement magazine in the weekend edition of the guardian. An article about make up was featured in the first few pages and in this article was a sentence that has really annoyed me.

I think those are excellent goals.  Reading more Shakespeare and Dickens should be on my list too.  I think 100 books is quite reasonable (It's only 2 books a week with some weeks off) but it depends on how much you'd read normally.  I know that I read way more than the average person so my reading goals number-wise anyway are vastly different. 

 

For me, starting my book blog really helped me to think of books more clearly and try to get at the meaning and messages in books.  Trying to explain it to other people helped me to focus on certain aspects.  It's a lot of work, book blogging, but also very rewarding, even if it's just connecting with one other person about books.  Anyway, good luck to you and thanks for commenting on my blog post! :)

1984 is an awesome book! The ending is depressing as hell but I enjoyed it a lot. And I've just realized you like Mean Girls as well. That movie is AMAZING. Lindsay Lohan at her finest.
