A trip into the Twirling Vortex of Ruckai!

Profile Information

What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
A booktastic literatie fighter, who attempts to explode awesome everywhere and rid the world of major suckai moments. You know, the usj.
About Me:
When I get to paradise, I hope it has a kickin' library, with no overdue fees, and new books that I can keep... if I want. For free.

Wondering about the random friend request?
Well, the most likely answer is that you posted something I thought was funny, or smart, or on some occasions both smart and funny. Other answers include, but are not limited to: I was nerdfighting at work, and started frantic clicking to minimize the boxes when I heard my boss coming; I think I might know you; your little picture is very exciting; you have nice hair; you look like someone who would sing karaoke.
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?
Tea Cosy
If you could do your happy dance with anyone who would it be with?
Milton.
When did you start watching B20

I do that too. Whenever I hear certain Flyleaf songs I think of the cats from Warriors and the spirits and stuff. xD

I have music on whenever I do anything. Otherwise, the back of my mind starts dancing, then it takes over the front of my mind, and before I know it I'm in the kitchen eating a s'more while texting a friend and the book is abandoned on my couch with…

I listen to broken social scene when I read (and write) as well as YannTiersen compositions because they're instrumental, but really interesting and stimulating. Not all of Broken Social Scene's songs are instumental, though. They're a great band.

i sometimes do, but it often distracts me from the book. especially if a song i like is on haha.

What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works. It's okay. I understand.

Thanks KC. that's a different Kasey on March 21st. One of the things we did to try to avoid confusion is provide the ning page url in the "location" -- I think Lauren must be the most common name on the Ning!

Good luck wit the Book Challenge!

The selling part? Hell no.

Knowing all the books by sight, location, description, bestseller? Yes--it was fun to know what book with a green cover someone was talking about.

The discount? Definitely. But I mostly miss all the crazy people I worked with. It was a crappy paying job, but I loved it despite its downfalls. Good for that time in my life, I guess :-) And it prepared me for the insanity that is the public library.
