Harry Potter series by JK Rowling; Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen; The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare; Roald Dahl books; Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher; The Hunger Games (and Catching Fire) by Suzanne Collins; I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak; and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon make up some of my favorites. (I'm not including John Green or Maureen Johnson books althought they're ah-may-zing.
