- Hi...umm I am from Honduras, and I just wanted to see what I would find by searching Honduras on Nerdfighters.... I found your question on John's page, and I think I cana nswer it as a Honduran teenager. It wasn't really a coup. The media always said it was and evryone was against ..well the right thing. But what really happened is that we sort of...kicked out a president that would have brought my small country to its worst condition ever.
The so called coup was on June, the problems are still here, but we are thankful that even thoug we entered a huge political crisis, its not as bad as it would have been if we let Manuel Zelaya on power.
After all this things I've live in the past moths I have learned to appericate my country and love it for what it is. Also, I'm really proud of Hondurans because we had the guts to stand up to Chavez, something no one has really done.
So yes, it wasn't a coup. It's not good or bad, it's getting better :)
