"with the occasional meat or insect substitution in some species (like chimpanzees)" Yeah, I covered that. Please read the entire post before you go criticizing my research.

Think further back. I'm saying that humans evolved from species that were primarily vegetarian, and our bodies still reflect that fact. Before tool use, there would have been no way for early humanoids to take down large amounts of meat. In the gr...

Actually all evidence points to our ancestors being primarily vegetarian, with the occasional bit of meat taken from something small and easily killed, or more often, scavenged from another animal's kill. There's nothing in our body's structure th...

If you need to kill it to survive, so be it, it's a necessary evil. Other than that, I think it's an unethical practice and we need to evolve past it.

I wouldn't lie. Stick to your guns, this is about what you believe in, that's something you should never have to lie about. That being said, I wouldn't turn it into an all out war either. I'm not saying that can be avoided, but if it's going to ha...

These people know exactly what they are doing. They put that little girl on the end because they knew how it would effect people when they watched it. Sadly, there are crazy people with fucked up beliefs all over the wold, and wherever those crazy...

What Kind of Nerdfighter Are You?
The book and music obsessed variety.
About Me:
It's difficult to encompass myself in a little 'about me' section, but I'll see what I can do. I'm a college student at Lansing Community College, but I'm hoping to transfer somewhere else soon. I don't know where else I want to go from here exactly, or what I want to do when I get there, or how I'm going to pay for it, but I know I'm working towards something. I'm a pretty directionless person, much more than I'd like to be. I'm not very good at answering those questions about what I'm going to do with my life. Right now I'm kind of torn between physical anthropology, music, and literature. Who knows? Some people can't find what they really love, I have the opposite problem. I have a multitude of passions and not enough time to pursue them all to the fullest. Anyway, now that you know about all the things that I don't know, lets talk about the things I do. I know I love to read, I love music, but who doesn't really, and I love my friends and my pets. I got my first dog when I was four, a collie named Brownie (he was mostly brown and apparently I wasn't a particularly original kid) and he fostered my love for canines and animals in general. Today I live with my mom, my current dogs Tristan and Sakari and Mortimer the hedgehog. My life would suck a lot without them. My friendships are probably the most significant aspect of my life. There would be a lot of emptiness without the motley assortment of people that make up my group of friends. Friends are the family you get to choose. I don't think I can describe myself any more, so hopefully this is a decent description of me.

I not annoyed with your critique of the naming. I read it a while back when I was younger and I really like it then, but I bet if I reread it now I'd see some of the shortcomings that you mentioned. I hope you do read the other book, because its amazing!

second comment, welcome to nerdfighteria (: I know what you mean about being directionless. I'm afraid I'm gonna stay that way--at least you've got anthropology! which is really interesting by the way.

Hey! You don't have any comments yet. Allow me to be the first. You seem like a very cool person with awesome taste in literature. Also, I know what you mean about having too many loves. It certainly doesn't make choosing your direction in life very easy, does it?
