About Me:
My name is Stacey. I'm a student studying psychology. I like facepainting and fancy dress. I never know what to write in About Me boxes. I usually leave them blank, but there's a little star next to it... I always do what the little stars tell me.
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and more
Sookie Stackhouse Vampire Mysteries (but NOT trublood). I have a very specific idea of how the characters look and I don't want anything to taint that. I'm a big fan of Doctor Who. Just Nu Who at the moment, but maybe one day I'll get back to watching all the old episodes. I just bought the season 1-4 box set as a present to myself for passing my exams so I'm working my way through those. Also love Chameleon Circuit, and I'm really hoping they release a new album, even though they've said they currently don't plan to. The last film I went to go see was Eclipse. I'm a converted fan girl. It gives me a rather interesting perspective. I'm sure I would have grown out of it on my own, but watching Alex Reads Twilight certainly helped too.
What's your favorite thing to put on your head?

Firstly *twitch* koalas aren't 'bears' *twitch* and you can only cuddle hand-reared ones in certain states. Kangaroos are all kinds of awesome! Very soft fur too . . . emus are scary though >.< Yeah Aussie wildlife is pretty badass XD Then again, if it were a toss up between having awesome wildlife or having kickarse music I'm pretty sure I'd go with music (England here I come!)

Well coffee makes me hyper, gives me sweats and then horrible headaches on the comedown so I'm gonna stay away from it . . . even though I too am nocturnal!

ooh foxes . . . we have foxes here but we don't have squirrels . . . I've never seen a squirrel (sorry, random tangent)

And that seems to be the case. I'll let you in on a secret: Australians love to scare foreigners with the prospect of our deadly wildlife but when confronted with a snake or a crocodile we'll be as shit scared as anyone else!

We had a sunny day today but it's been rainy for a few days past . . . it's around 15ish degrees on average in the middle of the day if the sun's out I spose (that's a guess mind you) . . . and you call THAT Summer??!! We have days of over 45C down here!! THAT'S Summer.

You didn't know the Verve were from Manchester?! Shame on you! :P I know rather a lot about British music in general, it's kinda a hobby/obsession.

Melbourne, my city, is the arts hub of Australia - galleries, theatre, great live music. Australian Summers down the beach are fantastic - surf, barbecues, mates, picnics . . . And Christmas in the sun is brilliant! HAHA giant spiders - common fear for poms but not a very accurate one, although . . . We do, however, live in shacks on dirt roads where kangaroos deliver the post XD Seriously though, come visit and get outta the cold!

Hey! I just saw your intro on the newbie thread and immediately thought "Hey, me too!" :D I too love Doctor Who and Big Bang theory. I love poetry and literature in a big way and also enjoy classical music (Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy particularly) I also play guitar (I sing and play piano too) and dressing up is always fun! Bow ties are very cool . . . I must find one to go with my favourite trilby XD

You're Mancunian?! That's so. cool. Home of Elbow, Doves, The Verve, Delphic, Everything Everything and a shitton of other incredible musicians! I personally prefer Northern accents to southern ones - cockneys and pikeys sound nasty but you lot, scousers and tykes sound awesome :D

Rubbish that you're too old to be here! The Green brothers are what, thirty-somethings and they still have time to put sillystring on their heads and do a little dance!!
