By my house there is a field of tall grass that rises above head height. From my bedroom window I can see over the grass to the marshes, and beyond that the woods that hide the river. I go outside and set off into the field. It's not long until I'm in deep, swimming through the grass. I hear a noise from behind and spin quickly.

Just something I've been thinking about recently with the Olympics going on.
When I watch these sporting events that prior to this week I couldn't have cared less about I find myself cheering for my home team (not literally cheering, I don't get that enthusiastic, but I certainly want them to win).
