Chris Davey said… Thanks! Good luck joining your team. Btw the college lax championship game is on Monday in case you want to watch it. I love Christopher Nolan, Memento is one of my favorite movies! I love the Great Gatsby, as well as Chuck Palahniuk's books. and John Green of course. Its been awhile since Ive read HP but how can you not love that. Favorite tv shows- ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, Doctor Who, Suits, Psych, How I Met Your Mother, Community, Criminal Minds, Parks And Rec, Franklin and Bash, White Collar, and Im currently watching Lost. As for quotes, I have 200 of them saved as some of my favorites, but choosing from them id say:
"God gave us memories so that we may have roses in december" - J M Barrie, "A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver 5 minutes longer" - Ralph Waldo Emerson, "A man's dreams are an index to his greatness" Zadok Zabinwitz, "Spectacular achievement comes from unspectacular preparation" - Dale Carnegie, “When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” - John Lennon, “We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” - Plato, “We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.” - Tom Stoppard, “We all live in a house on fire, no fire department to call; no way out.” - Tennessee Williams, "Theres no need to have a plan B because you have a plan A" - Will Smith, "Being realistic is the most commonly travelled road to mediocrity" - Will Smith,
Thats just a sample lol
Marissa Danielle said… Haha, I'll let you know. But so far unless you want it to say "hello" or "what time is it" then I don't think I'm advanced enough ;P Did you paint your profile picture? Cause that would be pretty amazing. And yeah, my Spanish teacher: her husband only speaks Italian, so she ends up speaking English with a Spanish accent and Spanish with an Italian one. It's kinda weird. But Santa Claus could totally be from New York, you never know. And maybe basketball was one of the reindeer games.
Marissa Danielle said… One reason I asked is because I'm teaching myself Greek this summer (: I took four years of Spanish, but my last teacher was certifiably CRAZY, and I think I actually know less now than I did at the beginning of the year. I could make a book out of the things she told us. Like, "the king and the queen sleep on opposite sides of the castle separated by a church" , and "there are people whose job is actually to sit in the middle of a battlefield during the war and take notes".
Chris Davey said… Haha APUSH isnt so bad, I love history! I took a class on the history of the Civil War and it was one of the best classes Ive taken. Definitely join! Its awesome Im trying out for D middie (midfield) at Stevenson (a D3 school in Baltimore where they take lax seriously) but if you play middie at your school youd probably play offense and defense. Then theres always long pole d and attack too (for those who dont like to run as much). Thats awesome! I have a couple of friends who used to swim competitively, thats pretty athletic. And dancing is yet another thing I fail horribly at. Im gettin pretty jealous of all your skills. So what are your fav movies/books/tv shows?
Hon'lero Rilemachsamdar, said… Haha thank's man! I love Miike Snow!
Chris Davey said… Haha they sure do! :D it may be one of the only ones in existence and I got to wear it!!! Thats awesome, I wish I could draw well, Unfortunately the only thing I can do related to art is appreciate it. I just finished a class about Art History and it was really awesome. I looooooooove movies, and books, any good story really, but other than that I like to play soccer and lacrosse.
Chris Davey said… Hey David, the scarf is actually part of the hat and it belongs to my friend Amber. Sweet drawing btw
JV (Ataximander) said… Welcome to the Ning, David :)
Marissa Danielle said… Hey (: I like the drawing; can you actually speak Greek?
