About Me:

I'm...quirky, to be nice. I tend to disregard labels, owing to the fact that I'm some weird nerd-punk-goth-artsy hybrid. I'm bipolar, have terrible vision (but adorkable glasses), and can be a real bitch--if you earn it. Allergic to playing sports, but enjoy get hot'n'sweaty. (IN A MOSH PIT, GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THE GUTTER!!) I'm a huge Anglophile; I love cats, and have a bigger vocabulary than most other kids the same age that I know. I said I dislike athletics, so I'll disclose my actual extracurrics: Orchestra (7 yrs of violin, baby), French Club (sort of), Reading Club and my personal fave, QUIZBOWL, otherwise known as the INL Scholastic Tournament. I drive a LeBaron and I have a pretty set uni: T-shirt, generally black though not always, jeans, tight not skinny, generally ripped up (esp the knees), and Converse. Occasionally my azz-kikin' boots. Did you catch that? CON AIR REFERENCE!! I quote books'n'movies constantly. Especially Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings. I also have this thing, what I call my "internal jukebox" feature: if I hear a snatch of a song, or a phrase, or an image, or anything that reminds me of a song, I just go off. Singing, humming, evs. ANYTHING can set me off. Interests: Snakes, ancient cultures, etymology, Neo-Romanticism, punk rock underground sub-cultures, Converse sneakers, fantasy literature, playing the violin, intellectual conversation punctuated by dirty jokes, coffee and chocolate (light coffee, dark chocolate), any and all vampire lore, naughty fanfiction, playing Scrabble, catharsis through poetry, antiquing & thrifting, iconic imagery, orgasmic guitar solos, abstract number theory, cult classic movies, astronomy, fatalistic positing, cupcakes, funky knee-high sox, crossword puzzles. Member of the Red Sox Nation. Obsessed with an obscene amount of music of all kinds. AND I LOVE JEOPARDY!!!
