avengers (some assembly required)
I've just been to see the new avengers movie and it is amazing (for those of you not in the know, the film is called Marvel's avengers assemble in the UK to avoid confusion with another UK show, hence the bad pun in the title) and it got me thinking, if the world was in trouble, which 5 sci-fi or fantasy characters would you choose to defend the Earth (or avenge it)?
